The Gladiatorz vs Ascension

90-Minute PKRI

Outcome: Win | Zybez link | Gladz link | Tip.it link | Video link

We approached Ascension earlier this week for a Saturday PKRI. We were unsure of our pull since we currently have a few members with various real life activities occupying their free time.

We pulled a decent 29 starting to equal Ascension’s. The fight started off even, then about 20 minutes in we began chasing their regroups from spiders to RDG and what not, we kept hte pressure up and they got a pile going again soon after but after a while they ended up regrouping once more.. from then on out it was ours to win. After the hour and a half mark we ended with 32 people to Ascensions 23.

Good fight Ascension.

The Gladiatorz vs KCR -> The Gladiatorz + TT vs KCR + SOK

type of fight

Outcome: Win | Zybez link | Gladz linkTip.it link | Video link | Video 2

So we were out on a small pk trip late night EST when we found KCR, they had originally had a fight with Exodus schedule but that didn’t go through so they ended up asking us for a fight. We accepted and were told to meet on world 21 east tree -> When we arrived we waited for KCR and after waiting they showed up with SOK as well (sorrow of knights) to make it a 2v1. We handed them both a really good fight, however realizing we didn’t have enough people to end either clan when it was 2v1 we called 21 options of TT to come help us, and shortly after arriving both SOK and KCR ran to single and ended.

Good fight both clans, pity you tricked us into a fight KCR then tried to make it a 2v1.

Gladz starting: 21 people (63 options)

KCR starting: ~60 options
SOK starting: ~30 options?

Gladz ending: 75 options

The Gladiatorz vs Hell Army

The Gladiatorz vs Hell Army

PKRI

Outcome: Loss

After being declined by ~15 clans throughout the day, we accepted a 4.5 hour prep PKRI against Hell Army for 5:30EST.

Starting:

Gladz: 84
HA: ~114

Summary:

Despite having a strong numerical advantage, we started off reasonably well and held our own for the beginning of the fight. However, as time worn on, their numbers began to make an impact, causing us to regroup for 1-2 minutes in order to re-gain some of our options. As our options built up, a decent proportion of our tankers began dragging them across the map and we saw Hell Army regroup within the last 10 minutes of the fight. Since they were regrouping at the end, I thought that we could sneak a win but I’m assuming they mass-logged at the end, allowing them to end with an immediate ending of ~105 and us with 63.

The Gladiatorz vs Solace

1 hr CWARI

Outcome: Loss

We were approached by Solace’s own Bobbilly last night for a bit less than a day prep fight in CWA with them. The rules were set for a 4:00 PM EST all styles turrets fight with dung on. We were unsure of what we were going to pull, and considering Solace is top-5 organizational wise we expected it to be at least close if not a big loss for us. Still it was practice so we accepted and looked forward to the fight.

We outdid our expectations by first off pulling an AMAZING 47 members to a <24 hour prep. That’s simply outstanding so right now everyone give yourself a pat on the back. Secondly, we kept things close and even had a lead most of the fight, that’s something to be proud of considering Solace is excellent when out-numbered and almost beat Corruption even when outnumbered by 10-15.

Solace ended the fight with 18 kills more than ours. A pic from when we were leading:

The Gladiatorz vs Knights of Order

Unplanned PKRI

Outcome: Win | Zybez link | Gladz link | Tip.it link

We set out on an F2P PK hoping for some action. We began by ACing Solace and Collision, but left when there was no interference. On our first world after hopping, we ran into KO and the fight began. After about 10 minutes or so, KO was nowhere to be found as I heard they had hopped to another world to regroup.

After waiting a short while, KO returned and the fight resumed. We quickly decimated their pile, sending them to regroup all over the wild. For the next ~40 minutes, we chased their regroups from spiders to Mike’s Palace until they eventually logged out and went to single.

Starting:
Gladz: 90
KO: 60?

Ending:
Gladz: 90
KO: 0

The Gladiatorz vs Runescape Elites

1-hr pkri

Outcome: Win | Zybez link | Gladz link

Our faithful PK Team members arranged a fight with RE for this Sunday. It was set to be an HOUR cap, from 3:30 to 4:30 PM EST.

The fight started 12 minutes late and therefore was set to be ending 12 minutes late. RE began with 111 options and we started with roughly 96. It started off fairly well and even, their numbers pulled ahead however and they maintained the advantage throughout most of the fight. However, we began dragging them and what not and out of fear of losing they started claiming the fight was over at 4:30 even after we told them ending time was 4:42. We continued to fight through it and at one point they even spammed “uncapped”. We weren’t going to let them get away with a cheap win because they wanted to shorten the cap, and by the time we took ending they had walked off the battlefield.

The fight was mired in controversy. We’re going to claim a contested win. Good fight to all.

Gladz ending: 90 options

The Gladiatorz vs Clan Envy

Short prep 1 hour cap CWRI – All-styles

Outcome: Win | Zybez link | Gladz link | Tip.it link

The fight started with us getting the first 4 kills. Envy kept it close while we let some new callers get experience for the first 10 minutes or so. We then buckled down and built a significant lead over the next 20 minutes, allowing us to get some more people calling experience for the fight’s remainder. As the fight came to a close, we left with a 100-kill advantage.

Spur P2P PK

Spur P2P PK

Outcome: Win | Gladz link

We set out on a 2-hour prep p2p PK trip. We maintained 15-18 people for the trip’s entirety, allowing us to clear everyone with exception to some of the rather large p2p clans that were out. We fought several larger teams and fought them with minimal deaths. Towards the end of our trip, we had a 20-minute fight against VR. Although we performed quite well and pretty much cleared them, we hopped after their numbers began to overwhelm us. We continued on to get a few more kills until we ran into about 120 opts of HF, and decided to end the trip since it was late and people had to leave.

The Gladiatorz Night Out

Outcome: Win | Gladz link

After AoW cancelled a short prep fight against us, we went F2P PK’ing. We found Apoc on our first few worlds and cleared them everytime without any deaths. We then found Aces of War and finally had that fight we wanted! Aces of War started off with more members but our performance was superior, forcing the same ~10 people to continuously return for 2.5 hours until they finally gave up.

The Gladiatorz vs BlacKnights

30 minute prep, latenight CWRI – 30 minute cap

Outcome: Win | Gladz link

Vanzant approached us for a 30 minute prep CWRI. We accepted and set the fight time for 11:30 pm EST. We weren’t sure how we would pull at such a late hour, but our loyal and dedicated members came through and we pulled pretty well. We kept a solid lead as the fight progressed reaching about 30 people while BK kept strong.
