DO NOT REGISTER WITH A HOTMAIL/MSN/LIVE/MICROSOFT E-MAIL ACCOUNT.Microsoft's free e-mail accounts are notoriously easy to "brute force." If you have one connected to your Runescape account we recommend changing it immediately as many people have been getting hacked through their e-mail. Know that the e-mails that you register with on forums and fan-sites become (more or less) public knowledge to the internet at large, so should not be linked to your Runescape account.Forum Terms & RulesPlease take a moment to review these rules detailed below. I highly recommend following these steps:1) If you use hotmail, MSN, or any other Microsoft email service, go create a gmail account and link that to the forums instead (preferably using 2-step verification protection with your cellphone).2) For the umpteenth time, use a unique e-mail address (preferably gmail with cell-phone authentication) for your Runescape account. One that you don't use for anything else and that nobody knows.3) Don't use your MSN messenger e-mail address for anything else. The people who do not follow these steps are more or less handing their accounts to hackers on a silver platter. It is apparently incredibly easy for a hacker to brute force his way into a hotmail account with very little effort. With gmail you can link password recovery to your cellphone, making it harder to get into. Most importantly though, under no circumstance should anyone know the e-mail address that you choose to connect to your Runescape account. If they know the e-mail address, they can hack it, and then recover your Runescape account.Don't be that guy who ignores this and then pays the price later.

Now that you know to take the proper safety measures, welcome to our forums! Please take a moment to read the following disclaimer before registering.-The Gladiatorz
