The premier club is essentially there for people who, unlike us, aren’t grandfathered in at a much cheaper rate than the now, $10 USD/month. The additional benefits are incentive for others to buy it as well, and the past few years the aura was a nice addition to some areas of pvm, such as the oh so great pantheon aura up to 4 extra signs per day with no time limit, and this year’s aura refresh for die hard pvmers. But if all this stuff as well as the loyalty point bonus and the cosmetics aren’t of any interest to you, then yes, it is just $23 extra for a star (access to the VIP world).
