Price Changes - 4th June 2018

On 4th June 2018 we will be increasing the price of membership for new members and those who’ve been unsubscribed for more than 14 days. The price of Bonds, Treasure Hunter keys, and RuneCoins will also be increasing.

Don't forget though - if you're a member and don't lapse out for more than 14 days, you're eligible to keep your current rate of membership. Subscribe now to secure access to all of RuneScape's members' content at current prices.

As always, we're committed to giving you the very best value for your membership, we've got great plans for the rest of 2018 and we’re already planning a huge 2019!

The prices shown below will come into effect on 4th June 2018.

I mean, I buy bonds with GP so it's whatever in the end for me and many others but - what the heck? Isn't the point of MTX (and it already being incredibly profitable) to make sure this doesn't have to happen?

Doesn't have an effect on current active players, but definitely presents an ever larger barrier to recruiting new members and having old ones come back to the game.  3-6 months of membership = the entire cost of an A-list  videogame? Doesn't seem proportional.
