I'm split.

 

I absolutely love the MCU and what they did with characters I honestly didn't care about at all. Made me really like Captain America, Iron Man, Dr. Strange, etc.

 

But...my favorite hero is and always will be Superman. And the DCU is pretty bad in comparison (I'm one of those weird people that enjoyed all the DC movies, but had way more complaints about them than I do the average MCU film), which is disappointing because those are all the heroes I actually grew up caring about.

I love Superman, but gotta give it to Marvel. From the movies to the array of characters that you just want to be, they take it hands down.

Superman bores me a bit - he's just too all-powerful.  

 

I haven't read the comic books, but MCU far and away blows away DC movies.  I did quite enjoy the previous generation of batman - The Dark Knight trilogy - and Wonderwoman was awesome, but on average, Marvel movies are just so much better.
