Creativity is contagious. Pass it on. -- Art thread

I've always loved graphic designing since I was very little so my art mainly revolves around that and drawing/sketching. I used to have my own website under a domain (which was basically a social networking/blogging website, and it was super easy to use), but it has been a long time since it got deleted (I ended up losing most of my art and graphical designs). Me being the weeb I was and still am, I gave myself a Japanese name that my online friends would call me by, which was Mura-Chan. I did manage to save some of my art on my USB, and I'll share what I have created both old and new.

This was a holiday card I created in December. Everything here was drawn by me digitally. So, if you were to fold this image in half, the right side would be the front of the card, and the left side would be the back.

A sketch of Dcon. I didn't draw his cape on my sketch, but added it in digitally. :blushing:

I also do some photography, but I am unable to find the images at this time. X)

This is only a little bit of what I do to give you guys an example. I'm into all, and any type of art. 1eqKXlR.png<3

No really art but something more functional I guess that I would still like to share. Wish one of you guys had painted it though cause I suck at it (see last picture for paint damage caused by not being patient enough to let the paint dry)

So I really am starting to miss the gym after 4 weeks of lockdown. So I decided to instead of buying a wall mounted pull-up bar to make one myself. Here are some pics of the process. It will be mounted on the wall later today.

I ran out of dark gray spray paint so I couldn't repaint the full thing (fix the white scratches on the mounting parts). However my dad had some light grey spray paint left over which I was able to use on the bar as this was the most damaged from me not wanting to wait for the underlayer to dry :D. Moral of the story wait for your paints to dry if you don't want to spend another full day to paint it.

It was actually just a class project, the piece itself is on a mockup to make it look nicer haha

Mask of Reality

Estranged a life, A life they lead
Fools of denial as they believe
Righteousness flows through their veins
Pumping feelilngs into their hearts

Reality crumbles fading away
When the loneliness sets in
So many friends with darkened souls
Much like the Black Widow

Web of lies they have spun
Burn away the silken strands
In search of truth, the truth beneath
Beneath the mask, the  mask they wear

The truth encased in solid stone
Overlooked like a pebble
Try to lift it on your own
Stone becomes a boulder
Crushing your will
If uncovered by many
They become a river and
The stone, the life, washes away

All that is left is the naked truth
Standing filled full of shame
Ashamed of the mask it once wore
Ashamed of the stone wall it built
Ashamed of the life it once lead
Ashamed of it's own existence

Expose the truth, the shadow of mankind
Slow down time at that moment
Watch it carefully as it unfolds
Essence of the shadow emerges
Greets the fork in the path of time
Glowing as it makes its choice

Many reform their old walls
Some move on to forge new walls
Some melt away into nothingness
Few live their lives as an essence

Its those few essences that live
Without masks to wear
Without walls to hide behind
Without lies to remember

They speak the truth
They shine with honor
They live courageously
They become heroic

Hi there, @BaconTaco suggested I post something here so here's something I made a few years ago back in college studying Graphic Design.

I'm in love with this!

The overall brown tone works with the glitch effect so well! The typeface you chose was smart and the overall concept is fire!!

Love seeing the art you all came up with! Love seeing people express themselves through art or creating for others! I've been studying graphic design for the last 2 years and happy to say I recently completed my final assignment! Here's some of the mockups I submitted.

I loved drawing pixel art of RS characters for folks to use on forums as signatures back when I originally played ~05.  I recently started playing OSRS because several old friends tugged me back and thought it'd be fun for me to see if I could make the art again.  Here are two that I made since I've been back!  =]   I'm getting a new drawing tablet today, so I hope to explore other forms of digital art for fun.
