Runescape Client freezing, lagging, and just dc'ing

I've been experiencing a buggy client all morning, ever since I logged in to do a Vindicta mass with Luke. It's been a bit of a hassle.

 

I wanted to ask if an of you are experiencing this recently, say within the last few days?  RSOF is showing a growing response to this so I was curious if  more folks here are seeing the same thing.

Runescape has also been buggy for me... It start as early as Monday. Maybe the update messed with the game a bit.

Monday updates always break everything

i have heard of sucess with compatibility mode

 

Click the COG on the loading window when you first start the game, and its in there.

Also disable Ambient occulsion/Water detail/Shadows/AA/ etc.

Did you try turning it off and back on again?

I set the graphics to minimum. The client seems to be chilling out now (and running altogether smoother for me.  Hopefully will be enough in the meantime.
