Event details

Come work with Friar Sledge on obtaining the Hatchet of Bloom and Blight!

 

If you want to join just for fun, you can come chop trees with us and join us in VC with no requirements!

We'll start with lvl 1 "normal" trees and work our way up, so tag along as long as you want!

 

Start in Taverly on world 39 cutting Normal Trees and then run around the world for other tree types.

 

Requirements for Bloom and Blight Hatchet:

I will be chopping logs for the attuned Moonstone (wood), which is one of the requirements for the Bloom and Blight hatchet.

> Obtain Hatchet of Ember and Glade

> Take your Hatchet of Ember and Glade to Ramarno in Ice Mountain to begin the process

> "Ensoul" a moonstone using the necromancy ritual

> Bring 100 OF EACH TYPE OF WOOD SPIRIT (except Eternal Magic - don't need those)

(You should be able to Inspect your "Ensouled Moonstone"  and see "0/100" for 10 different types of wood)

To progress, you must be wielding your hatchet of ember and glade that you showed to ramarno and have the ensouled moonstone in your inventory along with the wood spirits.

 

This event will certainly require more than 1 hour.  Just join us for as long as you want!  I'll take the family picture 15 minutes into the event (4:15 USA central time), so join us at that time in your best cosplay themed either after Christmas or Woodcutting, your choice.

 

Other woodcutting reminders:

Tree-Shaking Scrimshaw is HUGE!  It makes you get nests 4x as fast.  Bring Scrimshaw!

Sentinel Outfit is helpful if you have it.

Lumberjack Aura.

Seers headband is helpful for the normal logs portion of our journey.

 

I hope to see you hugging some trees and chatting in vc with me!

I don't think that I have enough time to reach req. for the moonstone but I might join just to chill and chop some logs

me too!  I have everything I need except Wood Spirits aren’t buying… 😕

I might have to actually go pretend to be an iron man and kill things that drop wood spirits…

which ones are you lacking?

 

unfortunately im stuck by quests :/ so more a time thing, but I can try and setup some afk stuff if wood spirits arent popping and try to help some clanmates with those if they are afkable

Elder toad has pointed out in the wiki that you can bypass the Pirate questline if you have dung cape btw! just an fyi

I'm pretty sure cutting 100 logs of each type is a requirement to upgrade the Wood Box storage capacity too, so even if someone doesn't have the ensouled moonstone, there is still something to be gained by attending!

I think that the wood box storage scales with woodcutting level and the wood box tier
