I'll start off by saying that there are "3 types" of disassembling. There's bulk-disassembling - where you break down thousands of an item for its common/uncommon/rare components. There's breaking down a few single items for rare components. And there's rare components which are expensive and gained from armor or weapons, so you level them up to lvl 9, which gives you quadruple components upon disassembling. There's no such thing as "oh there's X item on the ground, let's disassemble it". Those
