The Camshaft
Happy to dredge this conversation back up with the express purpose of enragement. I learned the other day that predominantly in the US chicken burgers don't exist. Let me be clear, they do exist but they call them chicken sandwiches instead. For those living in various countries, do the words "chicken burger" exist in your repertoire or do you call it a poultry pack or some other heresy? Link to comment
Maggie
If it is in a burger bun why is it not called burger? We (New Zealander's) call them chicken burgers. I don't understand why americans call meat patties - burgers it's kinda weird. CHICKEN BURGER - chicken pattie and fillings between BURGER BUNS. CHICKEN SANDWICH - chicken and fillings between SANDWICH BREAD. Link to comment
Felicia
So, if I go somewhere and order this and didn't want a whole meal I would say "I will take a chicken burger, just the sandwich please" Link to comment

Devin
If it's on a bun, it's a burger. On a roll, it's a hot dog. two slices of bread, it's a sammy. Link to comment
Cappernicus
a chicken burger has to be ground up like ground beef burgers. Link to comment

Maggie
Why does it have to be ground up meat to be a burger? We also have steak burgers here. Steak in between burger buns with fillings - do you call that steak sandwich? Link to comment
