My 17 year old cat was killed by a dog (not our dog) on Friday. Here's him.

17 years ago when we didn't expect him to grow into his ears:

He had surgery because he destroyed his ear due to an ear infection. This is how mangey a cat can look when they can't clean themselves:

He was almost always outside. When he wasn't allowed out, he tried desperately to at least look at the outside. In the process - destroying everything:

Then we got a dog. He asserted himself as the boss early on:

The turtle I had for nearly 20 years died a couple of days ago. She was an adult with serious shell damage when I adopted her, so impossible to know just how old she actually was. Super old picture, but she didn't change all that much. 

 

 

RIP Otto. Even though all you ever wanted to do was eat me.

Ohh no  I love turtles  the big sea turtle that lives in my bay got hit by a boat the other day also. Poor turtles! Sorry for ur loss. She looked cuteeeee
