To summarise, divination is the collection of memories from memory springs that are found in various locations around Glielnor. These springs are created when you "harvest" a sprite, a living form of the memory that floates around in the same way hunter animals move around their locations, when harvesting a spring you gain energy and memories. Energy is stackable and is, usually, gained at a faster rate than memories however no experience is given for them. Memories are not stackable and give a set amount of exp depending on the type of Memory (e.g vibrant memory gives 7exp per memory.) The memory can then be converted into energy for 1exp or into divination experience. You can then use the energy to create various items. Training To start training you must travel to south-east Draynor - as highlighted in black in the image below. Also highlighted are the nearest teleportations(blue/black) and the routes from them(red.) Clockwise from port sarim; Port Sarim Loadstone, Draynor village loadstone, Saradominist Token teleport, Zamorakian Token teleport Once there talk to Orla Fairweather she will inform you of the skill and send you to Faizan, located just west of Orla, Faizan will tell you how to train your first few levels and set you targets to help you train, this is the best way to get to grasps with the basics of the skill. Here are the experience rates and conversion rates for levels 1-10. Go to a world with a lot of players like W2 for the best exp/hour as sprites spawn much more often and there are more people to activate them.Every 20 minutes, from the hour, an Enriched Sprite will spawn, this turns into an Enriched spring that gives Enriched memories which give double exp for everything you do with them! DO NOT MISS THESE! EVER!Chronicle Fragments spawn randomly from springs and float around, much like butterflies, and if you catch one you will gain hunter exp equal to 10x your level (e.g at level 85 hunter you will recieve 850exp) these can fetch you upwards of 40k hunter exp/hour but can be hard to catch if others are after them.If catching Chronicle fragments, make sure to wield an Enhanced Yaktwee stick as this gives you 5% extra exp in hunter when catching them.When you have collected 10 fragments make sure to take them to either May stormbrewer (east of Orla fareweather) or the Guthix shire (at the end of the world wakes quest for extra exp) these give a handy amount of exp but can slow exp rates at higher levels because of the time taken to traverse to said options and back.
