Is a hot dog a sandwich?

What are some phrases or statements you've heard that have made you stop and think, either by irritation, curiosity or both? I'll give another one, in addition to this title, for a further example:

 

"Why do we park on the driveway but drive on the parkway?"

Also no to the topic title. Why is a wiener called a dog anyway, unless a wiener dog... hmm?

Maybe if a Poptart was made with Red Tomato sauce it could be a calzone.

why does the government recognize Pizza as a vegetable?

People sometimes want to start a war in social settings, some people want to sound smart. some people want to get banned. When I say "hot dog" I mean a delicious grilled hot dog in a toasted bun with some refrigerated ketchup on top, don't give me a sandwich.

If it is missing the hot dog, the food may count as a sandwich, but not a hot dog. All hot Dogs may be a sandwich, but not all sandwiches are hot dogs.
