Doubt it. Unfortunately, they can't control the botting scum with just lawsuits, they need to ban each and every one, and imo they don't have the motivation to do that.

I too would like to be able to slay black demons again. On my last dagannoth task, even, there were a few bots running around, and they barely even drop anything decent.

That said, I'm interested in what Frasier would think of this.

They have actually said over the forums that they don't make very much money with the botting accounts. Most of the time the accounts are paid for with stolen credit cards, and they have to pay people to ban accounts, and so on and so on.

Im just going off pure numbers when a update happens on RS, since the bots break after an update and they usually take a little while to be fixed the population of people online on RS drops 30-40% untill they are fixed, obviously its gotten out of hand but fuck me thats a LOT of bots, they spew alot of bullshit about how they are trying to stop bots aswell, rolling characters back and banning characters doesnt do anything, sure maybe itll make the person think 'Fuck' but then they just bot a new account back up to the same stats

Bots are way too popular and there is too many of them for jagex to win the war against botting now without something drastic such as removing free trade and the wild again

As for the part where they will get users info that bot, its wont happen;
