If you're slaying long enough per day that you cycle through your auras, sure. There are other auras that could decrease the duration of your task significantly for much better xp rates. I like the idea of a task of almost 300 dark beasts turning into 330 or so, but I would still choose to use something like sharpshooter over it.

The part of slayer that has kept me going for so long is its versatility and ability to always go to new places.

 

Some tasks are cool to extend though - but I was under the impression that's why they made the "extend task" option ... ? Not sure why we need an aura, too.

Especially since loyalty points take a while to stack up.. I would pay for them more willingly than I would keys.

Legendary Jack of Trades appeals to me since I already do the Supreme version of it daily and sometimes twice daily if I reset it with vis wax. It's alot of free XP if you do it every day. It's also nice if you're close to leveling a skill but don't feel like training it or spending money on it. You can just use the XP book on that skill every day.
