Anyone know how to fix this shit or at least having similar problems?

 

I clicked the switch button to go back into normal mode and it just loads up a black screen with no login box or it says RS is not responded and it crashes. "Use Default Settings" does absolutely nothing.

update your graphics drivers

Did that though, at least my computer says they're up to date anyway.

you should be checking with the manufacturer of your graphics card for the most up to date driver. MS isnt always on the ball with that.

Oh gosh.  Delete and reinstall the client? I hope you find a solution.

If you are running both an integrated card and a dedicated card you have to make sure both of them have updated drivers.

I actually did do that. It happened last week also, so I'm worried it'll become a frequent issue, but for now restarting the computer solves it.

I did not know there were separate kinds of cards. I'll just have to look into that in a bit.

If you're running the game from a laptop it may be because it does not have a dedicated Gpu, otherwise you may either need to reinstall you cards drivers, update them or reinstall the clients:
