Best use of double xp time?

So this will be the first time i've seen a double xp weekend and was after some advice

 

I think in an ideal world herblore and prayer make sense to progress an account?

 

Get to overloads / super anti fires and curses / soul split

 

However looking at the double xp page it seems like nothing is boosted for prayer?

 

Is there any decent way to train prayer during double xp?

 

Also any general tips

Don't bother with Prayer it only base xp is doubled not gilded alter xp.

Summoning is always a good one to get for double xp, but like Ben said, just save up and do prayer on a normal day, its not worth doing on double xp.

 

This question also depends on your goals.  Are you trying to improve your combat, or overall skills?

 

Overall skills, do the expensive things like Crafting, Herblore, Smithing, etc.

 

If you want combat, well you'll have to ask someone else lol, I've maxed combat so long ago I don't know what the good guides are these days.

Summoning should only ever be trained on dxp. 
 

Herb is expensive and a good option. 
 

I hear crafting is also expensive, though I’ve never trained it.

Construction too?  I've been collecting the planks and crates for a bit.  Is it worth getting it a high level? im at 83 right now just from doing daily's and the harp
