account was locked

seems when i tried to log into rs today my account was locked. tried to use my email to recover it but the e-mails been changed. submitted an appeal so if you came across my account ingame, sorry.

i do take the necessary measures to ensure this doesnt happen, account password different and the email used with the account is different so i have no idea how jagex claims someone else knows my password. my computer i use is scanned daily and the scans are clean.

hopefully i get my account unlocked

edit: i got it unlocked within 3 minutes....that was quick. last login was on an ip i used. seems like my banks safe.

anyone know of any reason why my account would be locked?

If your account was locked its because Jagex saw foul play and locked it, or they botted on it and got the acc locked.

Vastly as in more then 100 miles? No. I do log in from 3 or 4 different ips when I have the free time buts its all on the same computer (wireless travel)

Someone probably tried to recover your account a few times and Jagex locked it as they feared foul play
