who would like to try out windows 8

first things first i have to say two things.

one: the link i'm providing is from microsoft so its perfectly legal to download and try

two: if you dont know what your doing, then DON'T ATTEMPT THIS!!! You have been warned. If you dont have a cd to reinstall windows 7/vista/xp, then dont install windows 8 as you will not be able to get back into the earlier version of windows unless you are installing it on a different partition.

three: i know i said two but oh well. the operating system might be buggy but as its pre beta, its to be expected

I've seen nothing that would make me interested in upgrading from 7. Maybe that will change eventually, but we're not there yet.

I havent looked into W8 yet but from the 2 minute demonstration I saw on youtube it looked more like a tablet/phone OS than a PC OS. Guess I can look into it more, but I really see no reason in upgrading from 7 -- To soon to make a new OS IMO

Watched a bit more, does look pretty good. Turns out it does have a desktop, but all of the tech demos I watched mentioned nothing of it. Not worthy of an upgrade, yet.
