I voted for the Chaotic Kite and Torva Plate, however, I would save up for full Torva or at least the top and legs because it looks weird with just 1 piece.

The good thing is you can get a Chaotic Kite for "free" and still have money for the Ely if you don't like the Chaotic. And of course you can always resell the Ely/Torva if you don't like which ever one you choose.

Against most monsters the defense of the item is rather negligible. It's best to increase your hit output, as your defense won't matter if they rarely hit you.
