but of course. The first type of game was tobal, with it's fighting/RPG sidequest. Then came Ehrgeiz, with its fighting/RPG side adventure(and FF7 characters to fight with). Why did dream factory and squaresoft stop this? I know Tekken continued in a way, but damn. Squaresoft a.k.a. crusher of dreams.

Chrono trigger is my favorite game of all time and I loved Cross. Crono Break was registered by enix but they never did anything with it.

I started playing the fanmade romhack "Crimson Echoes" which has 30 hours of playtime and bridges the story gap between Trigger and Cross.
