bloody runescape nonsense

So since I haven't played Runescape for quite a while I forgot my password or I've been hacked. Every time I try go into the recover password part of the Runescape website it white screens and I need to hit return on the address bar for something to show up but it isn't all the stuff from the page and wont go any further than the page it asks for my e-mail address. everything else works on the website I can get to the log in part of the browser, is it just their website being gay for a while or am I missing something on my computer? seems to be all the account recovery parts of the website that don't want to work

Its also going mental when i try log into the website, and I have the older version of java not 7.

Try doing it on Chrome if you aren't.

Try to install the highest and accessible version of Java, if possible. It will not only increase the amount of game play, but may reduce the amount of lag and non-responsive parts of website will also decrease. (Applets).
