Deathstar
You should give budget and screen size restraints (13.1" screen vs 17.1" screen or somewhere in between) too for us to do this properly. Link to comment

No Idea .-.It is on the weaker side. That's why budget is important. For a purely runescape computer that gpu will do well playing at probably near max settings in 1080p. Finding a 1080p display on a laptop for under a grand is actually somewhat challenging... Link to comment
Deathstar
this is a good deal - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834317890 that one or the one above are the best value i could find... the M series cards don't stack up to their gtx counterparts, however, so take that with a grain of salt. Deathstar
I just put this build together in like 10 minutes - http://pcpartpicker.com/p/v4fMXL with a copy of windows from your school it's like 775 or from /r/softwareswap like 770 if you don't go to school. add an optical drive for some reason and it's like 800. it's pretty good and will blast any $800 $1000 $1200 laptop out of the water. It's a pretty sexy build and for another 150 or so could be really good (gtx 970 and a nicer case, still being under $1000 w/ windows) Do you really need a laptop? Link to comment

MSDN is basically the developer site for Microsoft, where they give developers like a shit ton of serials for every item they ever sold. Link to comment

Angus
I don't usually shop online, I don't have an ebay, amazon, anything account. I will most likely be buying a laptop in store from somewhere local and really just wanted to know basic specs for what I should be looking at Link to comment

Deathstar
tbh laptops aren't designed for gaming. they are compact and light, they must be able to run on battery for a long period of time, and they don't have sufficient cooling like a desktop. good performance = lots of heat + lots of cooling = lots of power requirement + lots of extra weight Link to comment
Angus
Yes, but desktops can't be moved and are big and I have no-where to put it. Link to comment
