And no.. I'm not crying about it. Butthurt kids like you are going to learn quickly that Lynch's childish behavior is not going to last no matter how good he is. I used to defend Marshawn Lynch but because I thought he was truly camera shy. He looked like he felt so uncomfortable in front of that camera last year.

Then I find out he's doing tv commercials. Then I find out he is being a disturbance in the locker room (Chiefs halftime incident). Then I see him doing this interview where he doesn't look uncomfortable at all but just feels like being an ass. All of that adds up. If he wasn't willing to talk to the media he should've stayed in Oakland finding a job with his Social Welfare degree.

Beat this guy twice... Now moving on to be 8-4 and clinched. Unfortunately there is someone that is 10-2 and 9-3 so unless the guy that is 9-3 loses next week and I win.. I won't be getting a first round bye.

Lol... you defeated your own argument using your own link.

1. POST-GAME ACCESS – After a reasonable waiting period, defined as 10-12 minutes maximum after the completion of the game, the home and visiting team locker room areas will be opened to all accredited media with immediate access to all players and the head coach. To relieve congestion in the locker room, each club must bring the head coach and at least one star player of the game to an interview area as soon as possible.

When does any coach bring any player besides the quarterback to the post-game press conference? Yes, key players do speak at press conferences but generally AFTER the coach and the quarterback have spoken.

2. WEEKLY LOCKER ROOM ACCESS – Beginning no later than the week prior to the opening of the regular season through the playoffs, each club will open its locker room during the normal practice week (based on a Sunday game) on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday to all accredited media for player interviews for a minimum of 45 minutes.

LOL ^ thanks for proving my point

And yes that contract is the "skeleton" of every contract. Every single player must sign that very contract. Yes they do add clauses to the contract (must play 10 games to get full compensation, etc) but everything in that contract must be adhered to.

I reiterate... If he wasn't willing to cooperate with the media he should've never signed the contract agreeing that he would. End of story.

These rules are for the club, not the player... What are you trying to get at? He made himself available no where ever does it say he HAS to answer an interview with a relevant response. He made himself available he just didn't have much to say because he has a bad history of having his words twisted. I don't see why you are so "butt-hurt" over this and why you are resorting to essentially flaming Derek over trying to defend his stand point.

He isn't camera shy. he's media shy. He doesn't like to leave what he says up to be swayed in whatever direction the media wants to turn it. A good article about this example was posted about a week ago.

In no way can the media slander a tv commercial so why wouldn't he participate? I'm not sure where you got that he was a disturbance in the locker room during the Chief's game, he wasn't even in the locker room.

• Former Lynch teammate and current NFL Network analyst Michael Robinson said that he spoke with Lynch after the game, and Beast Mode said his legs were so sore he could not walk and that is why he chose to stay put on the sideline at halftime. "He told me he couldn't walk," Robinson told NFL.com's Michael Silver.

Just can't let him play the game (so hard he'd rather just rest on the sidelines instead of walking all the way to the locker room) it's got to be him "making a disturbance"  Being Lynch's teammate probably makes him trust you won't just try to make a headline out of him.

RENTON – Marshawn Lynch talked.

That can definitely be said. Now, he didn't want to talk much about the lost wallet he returned to a fan in Marysville on Tuesday, declaring quite definitively that it shouldn't be a story that he returned someone's property.

He doesn't even want the media to touch the good stories that he does, he dislikes them that much. I'm not sure what your agenda was with the last comment, but after his career giving help back to the people of Oakland would be a pretty honorable thing do to and a good use of that degree. Just let him play football first.

Being media shy does not relieve you from your contractual obligations to speak to the media.

Pete Carroll has a team-game philosophy. No man is above another even if you are the star. Seahawks would rather have no WR than have to deal with Percy Harvin's shit. Yes I know that Lynch said his leg was hurting. It was hurting so bad that he ended up going back in the game conveniently after halftime. There have been reports prior to the Chief's halftime incident that Lynch has been trouble in the locker room. Lynch's behavior has been immature and I will not be surprised if he does not remain a Seahawk next year.

Let me put it in laymen terms so you can understand:

Marshawn Lynch signed a multi-million dollar contract where he agreed to perform a job. The tasks of this job consist of (but not limited to):

Playing in the NFL

Speaking to the media

Attending 5 community relations/sponsor appearances

You are under the interpretation that he signed a contract only to play football. You are wrong.

I reiterate for the third time... if he didn't want to honor his commitments for whatever reason he should have found a job with his Social Welfare degree. By that I meant "good luck finding a job with that degree."

There were real actual documented disturbances caused by Percy Harvin in the locker room. Marshawn Lynch hasn't done anything but try not to add fuel to the media circlejerk about the Seahawk's problems.

Lynch also understands he might not be a Seahawk next year, any Seahawk fan has already come to grips with this scenario starting with his hold out in the beginning of the year. He's trying to secure as much money as he could before we have to sign Russell to an elite QB deal. He addressed this in the article I previously linked to.

"Do I think I'll be gone after this season?" Lynch repeated, pausing to consider the question.

"I don't know, man. The Seahawks, their front office gets in the media; they talk a lot. I don't talk too much. I just play the game.

"If they have something going on, I don't know about it."

As for the Chief's game, I'm pretty certain you haven't attempted to be an NFL running back for two quarters but I'm sure it has some pain involved. Marshawn is probably the hardest runner in the league. Last season, Marshawn had 59 broken tackles (the most in the league). Forte, the running back I assume you are the most familiar with had 24.

If you need a visual representation of Marshawn's running style:

I'm not worried about everything in his contract. I want to see him run through defenses. You seem to be awfully worked up over his media obligations. Which is a strange thing for someone with no stake in any media corporation that are the only ones that care about this.

Why don't you write a letter to every media outlet that you saw that interview on and request that they don't show them. It'll make you happy that you don't have to watch a man who doesn't want to give an interview, fulfill the bare minimum of the contract that he signed. He fulfilled his 'contract' after the chiefs game and was fined for his non compliance after the previous. He's now done everything that was asked of him.

Lol worked up? Nah. After hearing about his holdout (and the reasoning behind it), troubles in the lockroom, halftime incident with the Chiefs, and then this press conference, I came to the conclusion that Lynch is an ass.

I hope Lynch does well week in and week out (he is my fantasy rb) but he is still an ass. It has nothing to do with having a stake in any media corporation or writing letters. Just calling a spade a spade.

It's cool that a Seahawks fan would defend his RB tho.

Definitely have to agree with the Ray Rice decision. He's probably not going to be picked up but he shouldn't have been suspended indefinitely by the NFL after being suspended for two games. Goodell knew what happened and only acted when the video became public and there was a public outcry. What did Goodell think domestic abuse was.. hitting her with a pillow? Hitting a girl on camera is the same as hitting a camera not on camera and should have been treated as such.

75 points sitting on his bench.. but that's because he has a solid WR core (Bryant, CJ3, Gordon). He has Rashad Jennings in the game who is beasting it. I still have Rodgers, Cobb, and Lafell left to play. He has Stanton, Denver D, and Wright (Pats TE). I still have a chance.
