[Reud] - I made this dish originally because my wife doesn’t like onions and sometimes you have to hide them to make her eat them. This dish not only hides the onions within the noodles, but if you remove the noodles from the recipe then the onions can become makeshift noodles as well! The creaminess of the sauce mixed with the offsetting texture and sweetness of the dumpling “ravioli” is delicious and amazing!

Steps:

  1. Set your Large Pot on the stovetop on Medium heat.

  2. Chop up your Sweet Onion into quarters.

  3. Remove the first layer to prevent any skin from getting in, chop off the tops and ends.

  4. With a knife or mandolin, thinly slice your onion quarters.

  5. With a knife, thinly chop your cloves of Garlic.

  6. Add 2 tbsp of Olive Oil to the large pot and your chopped garlic, cook until fragrant.

  7. Add your thinly sliced onions into the pot

  8. Cut 1 tbsp of butter and drizzle some olive oil over your onions, make sure to stir frequently. You’ll want to saute the onions until translucent, not brown.

  9. Once the onions are translucent enough, add your ½ jar of parmesan sauce and the remainder of butter. Stir well.

  10. Add in your black pepper and garlic powder to the large pot. Stir well.

  11. On a second burner, boil water in your medium pot for your linguine.

  12. Once the water is at a rolling boil, add your noodles.

  13. Cook them until they're soft all around with little to no chew.

  14. Add in your frozen dumplings to the pot, give it a light stir. Add salt to taste.

  15. Using your tongs, remove the noodles from the water and add them to the large pot

  16. Give it a light mix and serve! Top with sliced green onion if you like!
