If his goal is to sit on the iron throne with Sansa at his side, his easiest bet for that is Sansa being Queen of the North. @Beric I also totally thought Margery was getting out alive. Which got me thinking... Spoiler Maybe Jaime won't be the one to kill Cersei afterall. He might try and fail (I'm scared for Jaime now) and then Dany comes and casts her down, like the prophesy says, which can't be done if Jaime kills her first, and Dany leaves her for Tyrion.
