I managed to get the last Koffing I needed, and one more Charmander. I need 6 more Charmander candy and I will have everything except for the region locked, legendaries and Ditto.

I feel so behind.  I'm still only at 121 (managed to finally catch a Jinx today, first I've seen). Getting there, though! Nice on the Koffing. I got really lucky and a Weezing popped up in my office break room.

 

Let's see... I still need:

006 - Charizard - Literally only found one Charmander and one Charmeleon. Charmander nest an hour's drive away... Tempted, but probably won't go.

008 & 009 - Wartortle & Blastoise - only at 55 Squirtle candy. Rarely see them, and never hatched a starter.

036 - Clefable - only at 29 candy. Hatched one, caught two, My very first egg on day one.

051 - Dugtrio - 31 candy. Rarely see Digletts.

065 - Alakazam - 41 Abra candy. Stupidly evolved it early so I had a super low Kadabra, so now I'm waiting for 125 candy to evolve a higher Abra.

068 - Machamp - Only at 54 Machop candy. Apparently I just missed a Machamp spawn while I was out walking today.

076 - Golem - Have enough candy - waiting to use a lucky egg.

080 - Slowbro - Have enough candy - waiting to use a lucky egg.

083 - Farfetch'd - My boss is going to Japan soon, so when trading's available I'll have one from him.

089 - Muk - Only caught two Grimers...

091 - Cloyster - Just need two more Shellders. I'll probably have them tomorrow if I go to same place as I did today.

094 - Gengar - Found a good Haunter today, better than my previous one. Have enough candy - waiting to use a lucky egg.

097 - Hypno - Rarely see Drowzee, but today was a good day and caught a few. Have enough candy - waiting to use a lucky egg.

105 - Marowak - Only at 31 candy. I see maybe one or two of these a week if I specifically go to hotspots, none otherwise.

112 - Rhydon - Have enough candy - waiting to use a lucky egg.

113 - Chansey - Haven't even seen it on my radar at all.

115 - Kangaskhan - Doubt I'll ever get it haha. I have a friend that goes to Australia a couple times a year, so maybe eventually...

122 - Mr. Mime - Friend is going to Eurpoe in a couple of weeks, so if he catches enough, I might be able to bribe him with baked goods when trading comes out.

128 - Tauros - Haven't even seen it on my radar at all.

132 - Ditto - My Kabuto has little beedy eyes. Ditto, is that you?

137 - Porygon - Haven't even seen it on my radar at all.

139 - Omastar - Literally saw my first Omanyte two days ago, so it will be a while.

141 - Kabutops - First Kabuto yesterday, up to 11 candy today...

142 - Aerodactyl - Haven't even seen it on my radar at all. 10km egg almost ready *crosses fingers*.

 

Almost all of my 10km eggs are Pinsirs, though. I have caught maybe two or three Pinsir, and I have 125 Pinsir candy, with three 1k+ Pinsir. Useless things.

I'm still way behind with only 91 pokemon seen & caught.  Most of the pokemon that I'm missing are either rare (10km eggs only), or evolutions are needed.  I do have 6 5k eggs and a 10k egg in incubators though so hopefully I can get a few evolutions knocked out within the next few days.  Some pokemon I do not want to see come from an egg though.  I'll list them below.

 

5k egg: ekans, paras, venonat, slowpoke, psyduck, staryu, goldeen, tentacool, krabby, tauros(already have a decent one), lickitung (gen 4 isn't coming in the game anytime soon so no need to stock up candy yet),

 

10k egg: scyther, pinsir, magmar (although if one has a better moveset I would take it), electabuzz, eevee

 

So I need anything other than what I listed above either for evolutions or for new species.

I just threw 5 great balls + 5 ultra balls to catch a 289 Growlithe. WTF. Yes all of them were hits. 2 greats 2 nice.

Hatched my 6 5km eggs tonight.  Didn't manage to get any new evolutions but I did get some help on some of the ones I wasn't even close on.  Also managed to catch a 1262 tentacruel on my first try so was pretty happy about that.  Pokedex still stuck at 91 seen & caught.

3 brand new additions to the pokedex!  Hatched a squirtle out of a 2k egg which gave me enough candies for a wartortle!  Hatched my 10k egg today and got a snorlax!!!  Also finally found the exeggcute that I needed so I have a brand new exeggutor!  Pokedex now at 94/94!

You guys are way ahead of me. I'm level 22 but only have 70 something Pokemon registered.

I only have about 25. The game is not very accommodating when you live in a small town. I've evolved 15 hypnos because that's all I can catch.

Same im 22 with 78/79 caught (fuckign lickitung). Ive had better luck on eggs than you though. Maybe 5-8 10km eggs?

I just made it back in from San Francisco. They currently have a beta running for an entirely different tracking system, and it honestly makes it a bit too easy. It allows you to click on the sightings and shows you exactly which Pokestop the Pokemon is close to, so all you have to do is walk to that specific Pokestop and you'll find it close. My hotel room was also right on a nest for Scyther and Pinsir. In 5 days of very casually playing, I caught roughly 20 Pinsir, 10 Scyther, another Hitmonlee, enough Bulbasaur to make a second Venusaur, enough Dratini to make a second Dragonite, a random wild Weezing, and so many other things.
